Step 1: Find the Perfect Spot ☀️

Locate an area with good sun exposure and proper drainage. Aim for at least 4-6 hours of direct sunlight daily, but more sunshine is even better.

Step 2: Choose the Right Wildflowers 🌼

All our Seedles are neonicotinoid-free, non-GMO, and native to your region. Pick the wildflower mix that suits your location and preferences.

Step 3: Timing is Key 🌦️

The ideal times for planting wildflower seeds are just after the final winter frost (early spring) or in late fall, at least 10 weeks before the first frost. In nature, many wildflower seeds naturally drop in the fall and wait for the right conditions to germinate.

Step 4: Prepare the Soil 🌱

Prepare the soil by clearing away grass and weeds. You can use a garden hoe, shovel, rake, or even heavy machinery for larger areas. Loosening the soil will provide the seedlings with the best environment to thrive.

Step 5: Plant with Proper Spacing 🌾

Spacing depends on your seed mix and desired coverage. Follow the directions on the packaging. For Seedles, one seedball can cover up to 1 square foot, but for denser growth, use 3-4 Seedles per square foot.

Planting is simple – place seed balls on the soil's surface and gently press them in with a roller or by walking over the area. Seedles are easy to plant; just push them halfway into the prepared soil, leaving the top half exposed.

Step 6: Keep Your Wildflowers Hydrated 💧

Adequate watering is crucial for germination. Water the seeds daily, keeping the soil consistently moist until the seedlings reach 4 to 6 inches in height. Afterward, water once or twice a week.
